The Beacom School of Business is the region’s leader in business education offering a quality program that is fully accredited by AACSB International. Major in Accounting, Agribusiness Leadership, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, Health Services Administration, Human Resource Management, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Management, Marketing, or Supply Chain Management. We also have Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Accountancy (M.Acc), and Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) degrees and a variety of graduate certificates.

Beta Alpha Psi is an honor organization for accounting, finance and data analytics majors. The organization promotes the study and practice of accounting, finance and information services, provides opportunities for self-development, service and association among members and practicing professionals, and encourages a sense of ethical, social and public responsibility. Activities include presentations from professionals on technical and soft skills needed to succeed, networking with professionals, service activities to support the on-campus and off-campus community, and social activities. Students with a high academic record in accounting, finance or data analytics who desire to learn about career opportunities and network with professionals, develop teamwork and presentation skills, and give back to the community should consider joining Beta Alpha Psi

Do you want to learn more about investing? Do you enjoy collaborating and working with a great team? This is the club for you! Coyote Capital Management (CCM) is a student-managed investment organization dedicated to preparing students for the investment world of tomorrow through hands-on experience today. Through the development of automated financial models using Bloomberg Terminals in our Ellis Finance and Analytics Lab, thoughtful discussions, and dedicated members, CCM constantly works toward its objective of long-term capital growth. All investments, activity, and decisions are decided and voted on by students under the supervision and guidance of faculty advisors.





In 2001, CCM was created through a generous donation from Larry Ness, Chairman of First Dakota National Bank. Starting from $10,000, the portfolio now has now grown to approximately $4.3 Million under management through skilled student decision and continued support from the Beacom School of Business and alumni alike. CCM has 3 portfolios, all directly managed by the students on behalf of the USD Foundation and the Beacom School of Business.





All students are welcomed and encouraged to join CCM, regardless of grade level, experience, or major. CCM members develop skills that are sought after in the workplace such as public speaking, critical thinking, and teamwork. These skills transfer well into any career regardless of discipline. For members that specialize in Finance, there are ample opportunities to learn the ins and outs of the industry. CCM Alumni hold front office positions at some of the premier financial institutions in the country such as Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, Deloitte, and Bain Capital. This club that will focus on making marketing tactics as a team. Think (social media posts, videos, photos, billboards, collateral) and will need all skill levels to be successful.

We'll lean heavily on AI tools to make the tactics, but would love to have creatives (artists, designers, writers, photographers, AI experts) to help us create. Regardless of skill level and major, we need you in this club.

We'll have special speakers, create cool events and build our marketing skills together.

We'll be based out of our USD Sioux Falls campus, but will always use technology (#Zoom) to connect. And, when we have events and meetings in Vermillion, we can Zoom back to SF.

This is open to all majors, all minors, Undergraduate and Graduate students.

There is no cost to join the club.
