The University of South Dakota Officials Association (USDOA) is a sport club student organization at the University of South Dakota, which is committed to providing student development opportunities in officiating while serving our clients in a professional manner.

All members are current or former Intramural Sports officials at USD. These officials vary in experience from officials who work a full varsity schedule to young intramural officials who have minimal experience wanting to improve their skills at this rewarding profession.

Members can hold an elected position in the association, administer tournaments and special events, travel to extramural tournaments, make extra money and receive awards for their contribution, hard work and dedication. All members are expected to attend the meetings and be involved in all association projects.

We meet at least twice a week for practice, and we play our games on the weekend. We do not charge students to be on the team or tryout, and we supply uniforms and traveling expenses with our sga budget.

We strive to develop our skills, elevate our performance, and represent USD with integrity, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Our mission is to create an environment where players of all backgrounds can grow, challenge themselves, and contribute to a culture of respect, hard work, and lifelong camaraderie—both on and off the court

The USD club volleyball team travels to surrounding states to compete in competitive tournaments. We practice 2 times per week for about 90-120 minutes each practice. This is a fun and competitive organization that allows our student-athletes to remain involved in a sport they love in addition to their collegiate experience. This is an uplifting community full of fun, friendship, leadership, and competition. We would love to see you join our group!
